Grossmont Union High School District – Skate4Concrete® Summer Academy
During this week-long academy, students will have the opportunity to meet and hear from industry partners about how concrete is made and used in the world of skateparks. Students will be able to design and build their own model skatepark and showcase to their family on Friday, June 12th.
Touch-a-Truck Lakeside Edition 2026
Trucks, trailers, tractors, machinery, cool cars and everything in between. For children to get up in and see what it's like on the inside of one of these vehicles. They can talk to the operator of the vehicle for tips and stories and how each different vehicle has different functions and purposes.
Vendors will be on hand for food and drinks so come out and have lunch and a snack and enjoy a day outside with your family and friends.
Skate4Concrete® Mini Concrete Skatepark Contest

Get ready for an exciting, hands-on competition where teams from 4 of the 5 Concrete Industry Management (CIM) programs nationwide design and build mini concrete skateparks! This unique event blends creativity, construction, and community - all while honoring the legacy of Dominic Lencioni, a passionate CIM student and skateboarder.
